WALKAWAY ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

PURPOSE

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") defines the rules and standards for appropriate use of WalkAway. It complements the Terms of Service and clarifies prohibited conduct.

Any violation of this Policy may result in:

We may refuse to provide support or assistance. We may stop providing updates or bug fixes. We may discontinue the application. Legal action if applicable for serious violations.

1. LAWFUL USE REQUIREMENT

You agree to use WalkAway ONLY for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including local, state, national, and international laws. You must respect intellectual property rights, the rights of others, this Policy and our Terms of Service.

PROHIBITED ILLEGAL USES

You may not use WalkAway to commit crimes or violations. You may not plan, facilitate, or commit illegal acts. You may not violate any law or regulation. You may not circumvent legal restrictions. You may not avoid legal monitoring or supervision. You may not use WalkAway for any unlawful purpose whatsoever.

2. HARMFUL USE RESTRICTIONS

SELF-HARM PREVENTION

You agree NOT to use WalkAway to facilitate or plan self-harm. Do not attempt suicide or self-injury. Do not engage in dangerous self-imposed challenges. Do not bypass safety mechanisms in ways that harm you. Do not endanger your physical safety. Do not worsen mental health conditions.

If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts or self-harm urges, please contact emergency services (911 in USA). Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988. Text "HELLO" to 741741 (Crisis Text Line). Seek immediate professional help. Do not use WalkAway for harmful purposes.

PHYSICAL SAFETY

Movement challenges are provided "as-is" without fitness screening.

You agree to assess your own physical fitness before using movement challenges. Stop if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort. Do not push beyond your physical limitations. Do not use movement challenges while injured. Consult a doctor if you have health concerns. Follow proper exercise form and safety practices.

The Company is not responsible for injuries during movement challenges, pre-existing condition exacerbation, overexertion or improper form, any physical harm, or medical consequences.

ENVIRONMENT SAFETY

You agree not to dismiss alarms while driving. Do not use challenges in dangerous locations. Do not create hazardous QR or NFC placements. Do not place alarms in unsafe areas. Maintain situational awareness. Prioritize your physical safety.

3. HARASSMENT AND ABUSE

HARASSMENT PROHIBITION

You agree NOT to use WalkAway:

To harass, bully, or intimidate anyone. To send threatening messages via alarms. To track or stalk anyone. To cyberbully through the Application. To engage in harassment of any kind.

ABUSE PREVENTION

You agree NOT to:

Abuse the Application's features. Create alarms designed to annoy or disturb others. Force others to use challenges against their will. Manipulate others through alarms. Control others' devices. Install WalkAway on others' devices without consent.

4. RESPECT FOR OTHERS' PRIVACY

PRIVACY OF OTHERS

You agree NOT to:

Record anyone without consent using the camera. Record anyone without consent using the microphone. Capture biometric data (faces, voice) of others. Store photos or recordings of others. Share others' alarm data or history. Access others' devices or configurations. Attempt to access others' stored data. Share authentication methods (NFC tags, QR codes) designed for one person.

SECURITY OF SHARED DEVICES

If others use your device:

Protect access with strong passwords/biometrics. Clearly indicate whose alarms are whose. Do not share QR codes or NFC tags meant for personal use. Do not monitor others' alarm history without consent. Be aware that your stored data is on your shared device. Accept responsibility for others' use on your device.

5. NO COMMERCIAL MISUSE

PERSONAL USE ONLY

You agree to use WalkAway:

For personal alarm management only. For your own wake-up and challenge needs. Non-commercially. Without resale or distribution.

PROHIBITED COMMERCIAL USES

You may NOT:

Resell or redistribute the Application. Charge others to use your configuration. Use WalkAway for commercial businesses. Integrate WalkAway into commercial products. License WalkAway to others. Use for workplace automation (without permission). Create derivative commercial products.

BUSINESS USE

If you wish to use WalkAway for:

Employee management. Commercial alarm systems. Business applications. Workplace automation. Any commercial purpose.

Contact Company for commercial licensing.

6. SECURITY AND SYSTEM INTEGRITY

NO SYSTEM ATTACKS

You agree NOT to:

Attempt to hack, crack, or bypass security. Reverse engineer or decompile code. Use exploits or security vulnerabilities. Attempt unauthorized system access. Create or deploy malware. Interfere with system operations. Overload or stress test systems. Attempt denial-of-service attacks.

PROHIBITED TECHNICAL ATTACKS

Man-in-the-middle attacks. Code injection attacks. Buffer overflow attacks. Encryption bypass attempts. Authentication circumvention. Any unauthorized system access.

REPORTING SECURITY ISSUES

If you discover security vulnerabilities:

1. Do NOT publicly disclose

2. Contact Company immediately

3. Describe the vulnerability

4. Provide reproduction steps

5. Allow Company time to respond

6. Coordinate responsible disclosure

Company will:

Investigate promptly. Develop fixes. Acknowledge your contribution. Thank you for improving security.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RESPECT

RESPECT COPYRIGHTS

You agree:

Not to infringe copyrights. Not to use copyrighted content without permission. Not to violate intellectual property rights. To respect trademark rights. To respect patent rights. To give proper credit/attribution.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Downloading copyrighted content illegally. Distributing copyrighted material. Creating infringing derivative works. Using others' intellectual property. Counterfeiting or forgery. Violating licensing agreements.

PROPER USE OF TRADEMARKS

You may NOT:

Use WalkAway trademark without permission. Misrepresent your relationship to Company. Create confusion through branding. Dilute Company's trademarks. Use trademarks as domain names. Mislead users about origin.

8. FRAUD AND DECEPTION

NO FRAUD

You agree NOT to:

Engage in fraud or scams. Misrepresent yourself or your identity. Create false accounts or identities. Impersonate others. Engage in deceptive practices. Make false claims. Manipulate challenge results. Falsify alarm dismissals.

PROHIBITION ON DECEPTION

Do not create fake alarms to test others. Do not lie about challenge completion. Do not misrepresent features. Do not impersonate Company support. Do not create false reviews. Do not mislead about app functionality.

9. RESPONSIBLE DISCLOSURE

SECURITY VULNERABILITIES

If you discover security issues:

Report to Company responsibly. Do not publicly disclose immediately. Allow 90 days for fix development. Coordinate disclosure timing. Provide complete technical details. Prove the vulnerability exists. Suggest mitigation if possible.

Company will:

Respond within 7 days. Provide status updates. Fix critical issues within 30 days. Acknowledge responsible disclosure. Consider bug bounties (if available).

PROHIBITED VULNERABILITY DISCLOSURE

Public disclosure before fix. Selling vulnerability information. Offering exploit kits. Using vulnerability maliciously. Demanding payment for non-disclosure.

10. DATA AND PRIVACY RESPECT

OTHERS' DATA

You agree:

Not to access others' alarm data. Not to access others' history logs. Not to steal others' configurations. Not to share others' QR codes or NFC tags. Not to surveil or track others. Not to abuse privacy rights.

YOUR OWN DATA

You are responsible for:

Protecting your device. Backing up your data. Securing your alarms. Preventing unauthorized access. Keeping your passcode/biometrics. Monitoring account activity (if applicable).

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Do not store sensitive information in alarm names. Do not store passwords in challenge targets. Do not store PII in alarm notes. Be aware data is stored locally. Protect your device to protect your data.

11. ENVIRONMENTAL AND DEVICE RESPONSIBILITY

RESOURCE USAGE

Use WalkAway responsibly:

Do not create excessive test alarms. Do not intentionally overload device. Do not drain battery unnecessarily. Do not use maximum resources without cause. Respect others' shared device resources. Be mindful of data usage.

DEVICE CARE

You agree:

Not to intentionally damage your device. Not to physically destroy hardware. Not to tamper with device security. To maintain reasonable device conditions. To keep device software updated. To follow manufacturer guidelines.

12. CONSEQUENCES OF VIOLATIONS

ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS

Company has limited enforcement options since WalkAway is a local app with no server-side user management. Possible actions include:

SUPPORT REFUSAL

We may refuse to provide support or assistance. We may not respond to support requests. We may mark accounts as violating policy.

UPDATES AND FIXES WITHHELD

We may stop providing updates. We may not fix bugs for violating users. We may exclude violators from new features.

APPLICATION DISCONTINUATION

We may discontinue the entire application. Users would need to uninstall manually. We would provide notice if possible. Data remains on user devices (not deleted by us).

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION

We may publicly identify serious violations. We may publicize abuse or illegal activity. We may post warnings about violators.

LEGAL ACTION

Civil lawsuits for damages. Criminal referral to authorities. Cooperation with law enforcement. Cost recovery for damages.

IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION

What we CANNOT do (because no accounts exist):

We cannot suspend your account (you have no account). We cannot lock you out of the app (it's on your device). We cannot delete your data remotely (data is stored on your device only). We cannot prevent app reinstallation (app store controls that). We cannot force uninstall (only you can uninstall).

The only way we can truly "enforce" is through:

1. Refusing to provide updates or support

2. Discontinuing the application

3. Legal action if violations are serious

4. Public notification of serious violations

ESCALATION

Serious violations may result in:

Immediate refusal of support and updates. Possible application discontinuation. Law enforcement referral for illegal activities. Civil or criminal legal action.

NO APPEAL GUARANTEE

Company may not provide appeals process. Decisions about policy violations are final. Company decision is at our sole discretion.

13. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

REPORT ABUSE

If you see violations, report to Company:

Include:

Description of violation. Specific policy violated. Evidence or screenshots. When it occurred. Any other relevant information.

INVESTIGATION

Company will:

Review your report. Investigate thoroughly. Maintain reporter confidentiality. Take appropriate action. Follow up if possible.

ANONYMOUS REPORTING

You can report anonymously. Include as much detail as possible. Anonymous reports may be harder to investigate. Company will still take action if warranted.

14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

POLICY UPDATES

Company may update this Policy:

With or without notice. At any time. By updating this document. Changes effective upon posting.

NOTIFICATION

Material changes may be announced in-app. You should check this document regularly. Continued use = acceptance of changes. If you don't agree, stop using WalkAway.

16. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By using WalkAway, you acknowledge:

You have read this Policy. You understand it completely. You accept all terms. You agree to comply. You understand consequences of violations. You agree to be bound.

If you do not agree:

Do not use WalkAway. Uninstall immediately.
